Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States. He was the first African-American to be elected to the office. He served two terms from 2009 to 2017. During his presidency, Obama oversaw the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the Paris Agreement on climate change. He also ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and oversaw the end of the Iraq War.
